A quick, worthwhile little collection of tips and reflections on life as a working woman -- particularly in creative industries or as an entrepreneur. I've started waking up earlier to build some extra "me" time in the morning before I dig into work and find it really valuable. Also enjoyed the useful tools and further reading sections in the back. Will definitely flip through this again.

This was great! Think of all the great advice you've received about work life, and condense it into a tiny, pocketsized book that is direct, motivational and overflowing with Woman Power. At about halfway through the book, I stopped and thought, I've heard most of this before. But the thing was, I hadn't listened. And this finally made me want to. So take this advice to heart, and listen to Otegha and the other amazing women quoted in this book. I could spend the whole afternoon writing out my favourite lines, but instead, just read it :).

This little audiobook is another concise refresher for women in business. It’s quite similar to the wisdom of the “Nice Girls Don’t get the Corner Office” book series.⁣

There are informative, bite-sized nuggets for creating your own brand, negotiation skills, networking, freelancing and overcoming the creative block. Again, there is no “new” wisdom here if you’re already someone in business yourself. But it’s a clever, small toolkit to keep handy.⁣

This book is jam packed. It is super concise and mostly organized lists but I actually really appreciated that. There are way too many self-help books that take 300-400 pages to say one thing in this book. It is definitely a reference book so better to own it than to borrow it and better to pick through particular chapters when you need help/advice/ideas in that particular area than to read it straight but it was good. There wasn't too much surprising or something I hadn't heard before which is probably it's biggest downfall but the concise lists also make me feel confident that I would be able to efficiently use it in the future. The ideal audience is probably young adult freelance design women but even if you only fit a few of those categories, the topics can be relevant and useful.

Pretty basic information that most should already know if they've been working for a while, but you never know what you don't know.

Solid, accessible and actionable step-by-step instruction for creative business women.

I didn’t find a lot of new stuff, but do most of the advice already, but if you’re more or less new to the game and don’t know where to start, this is perfect.
