Sweet, romantic, and sometimes steamy, The Hellion's Waltz is a primarily a revenge story with romance on the side. Maddie the con artist and Sophie the musician make quite a practical pair and their story is attention grabbing and attention holding. I enjoyed this book just as much as the previous one in this series, [b:The Care and Feeding of Waspish Widows|46041449|The Care and Feeding of Waspish Widows (Feminine Pursuits, #2)|Olivia Waite|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1582192213l/46041449._SY75_.jpg|70946037]. You don't need to read this series in any order, either!

This was absolutely delightful! Olivia does such a good job at these really unique couple pairings. I mean a weaver and a pianist? Please. I’m obsessed. Then you throw in a heist they have to pull off?! Come on. That’s so fun. I especially loved that this wasn’t a coming out story, both women knew themselves and were supported by their friends & families.
In conclusion, to quote one of my favorite Amazon reviews (shoutout to LiteraryIllusions): “Be gay, do crimes, take down the rich” 💅🏻

This was an amazing read! Heavy on the romance, light on the smut. But the smut that does exist is crazy hot.
I knew I would enjoy the justified crime subplot, but I could not have predicted how utterly captivating and completely thrilling I ended up finding this story.
