This was a good sequel, albeit not as good as the first book. I like where the plot is heading and hope that Bea continues to have the same character growth trajectory in the next book, but I had trouble interpreting some of the action and mind-sharing sequences in this one, so I hope that that part of the illustration is minimal in the last book in the series. Otherwise, I’m eager to see how this series resolves.

Absolutely in awe of the illustrations! They are so colorful, cozy, and engaging. I originally got this from the library, but after reading the first couple of pages I knew I had to own it, so I went out that evening and bought it :)
