Just ok...Mia and Ansel marry in Vegas and then he invites her to spend the summer in Paris with him but he is never there and it's awkward.  I would have just left but she stays and finds out he's hiding who Perry is.

Disclaimer: There was too much sex. Gosh, too much for me—not that I didn't like it, though—but it was just excessive. Looking back, it's like the whole book consisted of 60% sex. They were in their honeymoon stage and couldn't keep their hands off each other, which was good until it lasted.

The whole story was good; it had a solid plot, and everything seemed to be in order. This is my first Christina Lauren book, and it only occurred to me in the end that Christina and Lauren are two different people. I'm appalled by how in sync everything was, even with two people writing.

The instalove wasn't forced; events were falling into place not just as if they had to, but it was more of a spur-of-the-moment feeling that didn't seem shoved in your face. And Perry, my goodness, that did it for me—didn't expect that coming! That was good, ladies. ;)

Ansel was really likable, truly such a gentleman. But I'm thinking if the same situation were presented to me, Mia's and my decisions would definitely differ. Mia, in spite of all the shit that had happened to her in the past, didn't show too much of it in her present. As she said, she grew up when she met Ansel. I'm really glad I didn't get to see that part of her because I know I wouldn't have liked it. I like how she is right now: strong, confident, and content.

Romance in Paris with a hot, adorable French man and a gorgeous former ballerina? Um...yeah, please. This was such a fun read.

Entertaining enough

Probably my least favorite of their books. Which is hysterical bc it’s one of their earliest. It’s porn. With mild plot. The steam is steamy and great. But the characters are vapid but act pretentious. Their writing has evolved so beautifully. This does not have the cute wit and banter that they pick up later.

Great author. Very pleased with the style of writing.

Hot scenes. Love the realness of the characters (not the average pretty girl meets millionaire type of story). Wasn't able to predict the storyline way ahead of time. Kept me reading. Looking forward to the next book.
