where do i even start with this one-
first of all it read like a bad wattpad story this girl wakes up after banging some guy all night and apparently they got married. also he’s french ofc so she goes with him him to france to stay with him because that’s what you do with a one night stand obviously

My favorite quote from this book is my new mantra for life. We all should know Christina Lauren by now. That snappy writing duo who brought us the the Beautiful Bastard series... all six books within nine months... yep, those girls are back with an entirely new series.
Do yourself a favor, read this book as soon as possible. The lead guy, he is French, and speaks with an accent. Why am I so impressed by an accent I can't hear? Because Christina Lauren wrote about this character with such beauty and depth, you can feel these characters. The bulk of the story takes place in Paris, France, and while it is all described so perfectly, I would recommend actually visiting France to see it for yourself.
Ansel and Mia are awesome characters. What happens in Vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas, ladies and gentlemen. Thank goodness for that!

Ansel é tão, tão engraçado que eu sinto que levou este livro às costas. Mas, para além disso, é tão burrinho que me fez tirar 1 estrela ao livro.
Adorei o facto do cenário ser Paris (foi uma lufada de ar fresco) e o quão incrívelmente irreal a história é porque isso a torna ainda mais hilariante.
Adorei este casal e a jornada da Mia como pessoa, no fim só lhe queria dar uma abracinho enorme e mete-la num potinho.
Uma série super descontraída e divertida. Recomendo!

This was quite different and painfully real. At times awkward but also pretty faithful to what it means being a new couple and building intimacy. Too many sec scenes and too long descriptions of said scenes, but overall good story and characters.
Premier livre de 2025, je voulais une lecture facile et rapide. Et j’adore la plume de Christina Lauren. Sympa, on passe un bon moment et se lit vite.
