This one was probably my favorite and had me in tears throughout! It was a lot more than the other 3. Each book had its own set of real life challenges, but this one was just more. I love the single dad trope, but a sick child will break my heart every time!

I will always love this series and I can honestly say that I wasn't excited about Zack and Denise's story at all. They were two characters that didn't intrigue me when they popped up in book 3.

Zack makes sure that he inserts himself in Denise's life because he needs her for something very important and she is his last resort to save his son. They never expected anything else to happen between them. After all, Zack is a professional ice hockey player with a jam-packed schedule and his free time is spent with his son. Denise works not stop shifts on a hospital word with children who aren't guaranteed to see next week. Love has a funny way of happening though.

Natasha Madison is very good at writing heartfelt romance and I was nervous when I figured out where this story was going which is very early on. I didn't know if she would be able to pull off the soul-crushing pain that this storyline might have needed - but oh lord did she pull it off! I teared up multiple times!

This is a great way to finish a series but I am now craving the spin-off that much more.

All the feels

First I’m going to say Jack stole the show and my heart, that little boy and Evie were so brave and precious. Dr Denise and Zack had chemistry from the get go and I loved them together but boy Chantal I wanted to reach through my phone and throat punch her. Anyways a very sweet, awesome read.

This book has one of the hottest covers I have seen in awhile!! Zack, Denise, and Jack’s relationship was the heart and soul of the book. It was great to see them come together as a family. Although this book was really sweet and adorable, it was so slow paced and dragged out for way longer than need. Zack’s and Denise’s chemistry was hot when they were ignoring their feelings for each other but when the angst was gone, I felt like their relationship was dry and the sex was boring and very plain. I liked slow burn relationships but nothing amazing happened after they got together. The reason I gave this book 3 stars is because the writing was not bad, just not all that interesting. The book was put together really well but it was very basic in my opinion.

Overall Ratings:

Hero: 3
Heroine: 3
Plot: 3
Angst: 4
Chemistry between the couple: 3
Will I read this book again? No

Amazing. Another absolutely amazing re-read for me. This book is so good. Make sure you have a box of tissues by you because this was another tear-jerker.

This book deals with people needing hope and faith. People who are close as a family and looking out for one another. People being there for each other through thick and thin. It shows us how we can love a child as though they are our own, even if we didn't give birth to them.

It's what I love most about these books. The closeness all these characters have are so wonderful. I love how they all just truly love one another.

Man this book.

I’m a sucker for single parent stories and this one tugged at my heartstrings and had me all in my feelings. Zack was such a good father to his son, Jack. Zack was just a good person over all. Denise came in and gave them both what they needed and even what they didn’t know they needed. I loved Denise’s character as she was smart, strong and selfless.

This story had such a delicious slow burn and I loved the build up, character development and connection between Zack and Denise. You could feel their chemistry oozing off the page. Jack stoled my heart in this story and I loved how it was the perfect balance with all three characters. At times this was an emotional story to read as well. I found myself tearing up several times and I needed a minute to compose myself .

Natasha Madison has such a way with words and once again I felt like I was apart of the group. This is book number two out of four that I have read in this series and every time I read I’m sucked in right until the very end. I never feel like I’m lost and shows Madison’s strength as a writer. Madison’s writing style has only gotten better and she is quickly moving up to be one of my favorites. Even though this story was more on the emotional side we did get some comedic relief. And I must say the last sentence brought tears to my eyes. It truly did. I won’t be forgetting about this book for a very long time. Definitely a favorite read of 2018!
