Good premise, bad follow through.
There was no depth to the characters, they also had no chemistry. Their relationship felt flat and don’t even get me started on the dialogue - it was filled with pop culture references.
Opal’s character is supposed to have ADHD, but the author made her seem like a caricature of what someone is supposed to be like if they had ADHD. Opal had a klutzy scene in every other chapter 🙄
Do not recommend

Very soft and comforting, but also, people have got to stop presuming they know what other people feel or think.
Moderate: Grief
Minor: Child abuse
