Another amazing tale from Luthor

Nobody does Omegaverse or world creation like Luthor. Kinsey and her Alpha's story is so beautifully well done. Couldn't put it down & now I'm anxiously and impatiently waiting for the next. 5⭐

Wow.

I mean...

Wow.

... I'll try to think of more words.

Wow.

Interesting world, cool themes, decent prose.
Finally, FINALLY an Omegaverse that not only includes women, but has them being both alpha and omegas and in a relationship. I was very curious to find out how that works.
Good story, good characters, even good premises for a series, my two main complaints are that the story gave me sex when I wanted plot (and don't get me wrong, the sex is great, but has to be there at the right times) and that the language was at times either repetitive or too down to earth for my taste, but it is purely personal.
Also personal, I am not crazy about the princess giving up her ambitions suddenly to live a cottage core fantasy with wife and kids. It made me wonder what the whole point was. The tonal shift was temporary, but too jarring for me. This is why it lost a star

This was a weird ride, but the romance is actually really cute.

I thought there would be more plot. Silly me.

Um…. I have no idea what just happened but it was hot!! I did the audio version of this and oh my god…. I’ve read a lot of erotica and smut but sometimes i found myself blushing. This is my first f/f omegaverse type book… I definitely wasn’t expecting this and I’m still not sure how I feel about it. I would have like more character development and build up to things but you have to take this for what it is…. Still I enjoyed it.

Oh my god I absolutely loved this one!
I loved these two together and the draw they both had towards each other and I really appreciated how the author gave both characters a POV so we could see both their thoughts and how they both felt about their situations.
I loved Aubrey. Hands down. Absolutely loved her and her reasoning for not wanting to impregnate Kinsley and just abandon her child.
Their time together towards the end of the book is perfect and I loved seeing them both grow together.

This was my first Omerg-verse book, and I enjoyed it. Will be checking out more

Over the days, she had grown close to Kenzi, and could almost touch a life that she’d thought was only a dream.

3.5 stars. This went better than I expected it to. I haven't liked omegaverse since it first popped up years and years ago, and I came across it in m/m and m/f form. This is my first time reading full on f/f omegaverse, and it's definitely my favourite thing I've read in the genre? That's... not saying a lot! At all! Lol, but I'm still glad I tried it. Like how I never read any bully romance, read one, and confirmed for myself that they aren't for me. This trope is also not for me. I don't care about genitals; it's just that there are just some things really I don't like: the biological imperative, the emphasis on impregnation, the pseudo werewolf stuff, the kn*ts. Suuuuuper not for me lol.

But that isn't to say I disliked this. It was pretty short, but it's got a sweet, really hot love story. I do love fantasy romances about royalty and loyalty, and if there's got to be a slave trope, I love when the power dynamics are reversed, like they are here. It was easy to like both heroines, and though the story wasn't mind-blowing, it was entertaining. And really sexy! The extra .5 is just for that.

Listened to the audiobook as read by Alexandria Wilde, who is a favourite narrator under a pseudonym. And thank goodness for her, because I know I wouldn't have enjoyed this as much without her. I wouldn't mind reading from this author again, if she ever branches out from a/b/o.
