I can’t stand Eden. She’s annoying, slow to understand, and an emotional big baby! I honestly don’t know how she’s survived this long. Yeah, she did a few cool badass smart things. But when it comes to human interaction she’s dense and way too wordy and lets her heart decide before she’s even used her brain. In chapter 32 it took her way too long to realize Beau was role playing, and once she did she asked to confirm. Like I get it, she’s inexperienced and this is all new to her. But Jesus girl just go with the flow and have some damn confidence. And don’t get me started with the whole Dom and Jasper thing, like she just assumed their feelings for her instead of allowing them to express them on their own, and cut them off before anything could even happen. Now she’s back tracking because she’s finally allowed them to talk. So frustrating.

Chapter 18 was a work of art! Beau and Lucky are easily the funniest characters, and the narration was hilariously well done. I wish there were more chapters without Eden.

The most annoying thing about this book (besides Eden) is the lack of real communication. Like they talk a lot, but don’t actually say what needs to be said, or settle what needs to be settled.

Also, the whole idea how Eden is falling in love with all of them, and they’re reciprocating when she’s fooled around once with all of them in the two weeks before she was captured *insert eye roll.* And her break down when she thought they were all dead. It just isn’t believable. Maybe if they had spent more time together, and she had been more intimate with each of them individually. But no.

I originally read the first book on KU, and quickly found out it was way too wordy of a book to read without frustration, so I switched to the audio for book 2…turns out it’s just as frustrating as book 1. Tons of filler, fluff, and a lot of over descriptions and details, a lot could have been left out and still have the same outcome. I found myself circling my hand in a get to the point gesture through out both books.

The most exciting part of this book was the ending. Only because I want to know what happens to Madison and Alastair. I hope Dom and Beau end up together, Jasper and Lucky, then Eden and Jayk…but I won’t hold my breath.

I’ll probably end up listening to book 3 when it comes out. But I personally wouldn’t recommend this series at all. Countless eye rolls, tons of frustrated sighs, and a lot of face balms. I honestly don’t know how this series has gotten such high reviews, besides the audio. The narration is duet style and perfection. Total all star cast is you ask me.

The narrators did an amazing job just as they did with the first book!
So many twists and turns with the truth finally coming out.
It’s definitely not what you expect and the attention to detail drew me in straight away all over again.
This series is definitely one that I’d love to experience all over again if I could 😍
As always check your TW be sure to enjoy 😏🔥

Love character growth, Jaykob's development was really cute and I appreciated that Eden didn't go back to an arrangement she wasn't truly happy with.

Eden poisons the group holding her captive, the rangers and another group come up to save her. She connects with all the men in one way or another, very spicy and lots of character growth. They decide to go on the offense against the sinners but get betrayed and captured. They're set free after the sinners take hostages and Eden is forced to confess that she freed Alistaire.

Book and Audiobook Review

What do I even say about this fucking masterpiece?

The audiobook was epic.

The spice was OFF THE FUCKING CHARTS. Like. THE. SPICIEST. BOOK. I’VE. EVER. READ.

The story had so many ups and downs. The ending!? How the hell am I supposed to survive until book three comes out??

The character development was ON POINT. Every single one of them grew and we learned so much more about them. I need more Dom though. Oh Dom

“I don’t pity you, sugar. Just pity any survivors you left. They’re going to beg for your poison.”

This book starts off right where book 1 ended (so thank you, Rebecca)! There was action from the beginning, and we got to watch Eden survive without her brutes behind her.

This story really brings together the desires/needs within the group. Everyone is faced with their own obstacles that they need to overcome.

The character dynamics in these books are absolutely incredible! I've never read a why choose where I have no desire to actually pick a favorite! Each of the characters played such an important role within the story

I can not say enough good things about these audiobooks! The full cast has definitely changed the game, and I feel like all why choose stories need this to accurately capture the emotions of each character!

I think every narrator did such an incredible job at bringing life to the character they played! It was incredible, and I can't wait for book 3!
