"One is not born, but rather becomes, a woman." Simone de Beauvoir's book has been named, by some, the "bible of feminism" which I disagree with; this book is too good to be compared to any religious scripture. It's a masterpiece in its own right, and while it's not perfect (for perfection is but a false concept) I definitely recommend it; feminist or not, I think that most people can enjoy this book.

This book rise my awareness about why woman always stigmatized as the second sex. Beauvoir seems carefully explains pieces by pieces the mosaic that fill in questions about why woman can't be winning towards man? I understand why this book called as the most influential emancipation book in that era, because Beuvoir always explains many aspect fully informative and detail. Even though this book is slow paced, Beauvoir always provide the summary every chapter. This is the mostly read book if you wanna know about Beauvoir and her thoughts,  also why we need equality for woman in every aspect.
