I think I just lost interest and never picked it back up. I might try again in the future because I liked the book prior to this one.

All wrapped up with a bow. I gobbled up this series so quickly. I do enjoy happy endings.

3.5 stars

hmmm. i feel conflicted giving this book 3-3.5 stars. i LOVE the Quinn's, i love the family, the time they spend together. and i was so excited to slip back into the world and watch Seth fall in love.

But i walked away feeling 'bleh' about the book and the romance. I felt like the romance happened waaay too quickly and both MC saying they were 'in love' happened too fast. (which dont get me wrong i knew that would happen, but i felt like it wasn't believable like Cam/ Anna or Ethan/ Grace) what really didn't work for me was the whole situation with Gloria, Seth kept putting it off and i was so nervous about what would happen with her that i couldn't enjoy the family time. also the ending, i wanted more family time after the conclusion, but we didn't get any of that.

i wont say this tarnished the series for me, but after two strong books in the beginning, the last two books fell flat for me.

An extremely satisfying conclusion to the Chesapeake Bay Saga series. Seth was just a young, angry boy when introduced earlier in the series. Years later he's now home from Europe after following his passion and becoming an artist. He may be successful but nothing beats coming home. Not much has changed but the owner of the flower shop, Dru, was a very pleasant change. Dru moved to this sleepy town from the hustle and bustle and political charged environment of D.C.. Her dream of opening her own shop did not include meeting and falling for a talented artist like Seth, but she's ready to expand her dreams. Seth couldn't help but fall for Dru but the shadow of his drug addicted mother lingers over everything good in his life. Can Seth fully open his life up to Dru before his mother tears everything down? Really great read!

Better than #3, certainly.
