Interesting read though definitely not an easy one.. I got nauseated and dizzy and disturbed getting into the second half. Many phrases to reflect, but my favorite gotta be
"Sometimes a thought is closer to truth, to reality, than an action. You can say anything, you can do anything, but you can't fake a thought.”

I’m Thinking of Ending Things by Iain Reid
Pick it up, and do not put it down.
This is a strange book. It’s intense, disorienting, and at times hard to follow. I don’t think it’s for everyone. But my god, it was perfect for me. I loved it. I cherish it. Beneath the unease, this is a story of identity, of desperation, of love and loss and loneliness. Maybe it’s because I’m so messed up that I saw beauty in its darkness—but I did. I can’t praise it enough.
That said, I understand this book will be lost on many readers. For them, I’m both sad they can’t see what I saw, and grateful they don’t have to. My hope is that those who need this story find it, and those who don’t will understand why some of us do.
To anyone who needs it: I see you, and I appreciate you. Love this book the way I did.

This... is not at all what I was expecting and continually had me questioning what the hell I just picked up. Very interesting.

I enjoyed the book, but wasn't in the mental place to read it. Unsure if I ever will be? I don't wanna fuck with my brain currently...
