This series was definitely one of those series that I read quickly and then was mad at myself that I read so quickly, not that I could help myself. It was just that good. PLUS I stayed up until 2:30 am reading Priest (the 3rd book) which didn’t help me prolong my experience.
The fourth book in the Confessions series is a wonderful way to come down off the high and action of the 3rd book. It’s definitely a book in its own right and not merely an extended epilogue, which I really enjoyed. At the heart of the story, the guys are moving their relationship forward and looking to the future. Priest and Julien want to cement Robbie within their relationship and also give him the security of a long-term commitment. But how does one do that? I think Ella came up with a wonderful way of allowing her characters to do just that in a plausible and sweet way.
Additionally, I also loved the conflict Robbie felt about taking the guys home. This created so many sweet moments, but also some really funny ones, in this story. Priest drunk - that is all I’ll say. It was so fun to see the entire Bianchi clan in action.
This series is one I do believe I’ll be returning to when I need something familiar and delightful. It was everything I look for in a romance. There is plot, character development that leaves you feeling like you know all the main characters well, cameos from other favorite characters, steamy moments, action, and dialogue. Quite simply, it checked all my boxes for what I'm looking for in a great read. Not just a story to entertain and distract you, but one that you find yourself talking to others about and recommending.

This is the beginning of forever. And if you come with us, we’ll show you the rest of the way.
Pure joy! Pure love! Pure happiness!! There's not much more the say than that. This book is one joyous happily ever after for three men we have grown to love. And that epilogue .... eeeek!!! Pure perfection!!
And we get more in this world... can't wait!!!!

This booked wrapped the series up in a neat and dare I say sweet little bow. It was non existent on the angst (I mean I think we got enough drama in Confessions: Priest) Pretty much this one focused on making the 3 of them a permanent threesome.
It even gave us 5 years down the road epilogue and I must say I was suitably surprised at the direction this loving menage went.

I was VERY TRAGICALLY interrupted from my Confessions binge halfway through this book by college classes, but I finally finished this early this morning and I'm both glad to have experienced the story and sad that my time with these three boys is over. A few quick sketches of thoughts, since I'm a little less clear on it than I usually am with the delay in reading:
- Drunk Priest was hilarious, but God I would've smacked Val if I were Robbie. Imagine flirting so shamelessly with someone else's significant other, let alone your brother's! She's so lucky I warmed up to her again afterwards.
- The dedication at the beginning of the book was lovely.
- I worked out the twist with the drugs in Robbie's car fairly instantly, but it was still great, and (sorry Robbie) super amusing.
- I loved how developed and real Robbie's family was; they were all so vibrant, with their own believable and busy lives going on around him that you caught glimpses into, and I really enjoyed reading about them and their dynamic with the MCs.
- That wedding was gorgeous. I loved the detail and love with which everything and everyone was described, and the first glimpse of Robbie had me almost as breathless as it had Julien and Priest.
- I love Chloé. Sure, I only saw her for five minutes, but she was an utter delight, and I loved her different names and interactions with the three guys.
Details: Alternating POVs, third-person, past tense
Favourite character: Robbie, closely followed by Priest
Happy ending?: Yes

They are with me. I am with them. We are happy and in love. More than happy. We are crazy, stupid, deliriously in love.
Priest was the first to step forward, of course. Always bold, always brave, but most of all, Robbie knew that Priest stepped forward to test the waters before Julien approached.
Always watching out for his men, that was Priest, and in that moment, Robbie loved him more than he thought possible.
“No,” Priest said firmly. He wouldn’t have Robbie cutting himself down. “You listen to me. You are an incredible man. Smart, caring, and unbelievably sexy.” Priest looked into Robbie’s dark blue eyes. “Do you know how I know that?”
Robbie shook his head. “No.”
“Because you’re mine, and I love you.” Priest thrust his hips forward and, when Robbie whimpered, added, “And I don’t like anyone. So that must make you pretty fucking special.”
“Priest?” Robbie said, as he looked around again. “Where are we?”
“Why?” Priest asked. “Are you scared?”
“Well,” Robbie said, “I was arrested, handcuffed, and brought out to the middle of the woods and handed over to a crazy man.”
“Ma? Are you all right?”
“Oh, yes. Don’t worry about me. I’m just…” She cupped Robbie’s cheek. “I’m just feeling a little bit emotional. That’s all.”
Robbie placed his hand over hers and then kissed it. “Good emotions?” he asked, wondering if she was at all second-guessing the unusual union her son was about to enter into. “I know this might be a little awkward for you and Pa, but—”
“Robert? Shh… baby. Stop worrying. They’re good ones. I’m happy and a little bit sad that my baby boy is all grown up. But mostly I’m so proud of the man you have become.”
Robbie’s eyes welled, and when she let go of his hand to cradle both his cheeks, she said, “You have always been my sweet boy. The one who had a smile for everyone and wanted nothing more than to be loved. And for that reason, I always worried about you the most. That you would give your love to the wrong person—until now.”
Robbie didn’t realize until she’d wiped away a tear that he was crying. But when she leaned in and rested her forehead to his like she used to when he was a boy, there was nothing he could do to stop it.
“A person would have to be blind not to see how much those two men love you. This might not be conventional, and it might not come with a legal document attached. But from the moment they asked your father and me for your hand in marriage, they became part of this family, and our family does not embarrass us, Robert. So tomorrow, you go out there and be proud of who you are, because that’s the man I raised, and that’s the man they love.”
Robbie wrapped his arms around his mother’s waist, and as she kissed the side of his head, he shut his eyes and held on tight until, finally, he felt together enough to let go. He had the best family in the world.
“You’re awake early. Couldn’t sleep?”
“I could…” Priest said, as he lowered his head and pressed a soft kiss to Julien’s lips. “I just found that I liked what was here better than anything in my dreams.”
Julien grinned against Priest’s mouth, a sleepy chuckle rumbling from his chest. “Aren’t you charming this morning.”
Priest kissed his way over to Julien’s ear and nuzzled in under it. “I’m charming every morning.”
“Non, you are not.” Julien laughed as he rolled to his side and Priest slid his leg between his, and then slipped his hands into the back of Julien’s white briefs. “You are usually broody and silent until you are showered and caffeinated.”
Priest eyed him for a minute, and then shrugged. “Fair point. But I’m never like that on my wedding days.”
Julien put his hands against Priest’s chest and tested the muscle there. “True. You always seem to wake up very energized on those particular days.”
“You should know; you’ve been there for both of them.”
We are meant to be with one another, and if that means we want an awful lot—then so be it.
“Robert,” Priest said, and as Julien took a step back, Robbie’s attention focused on Priest, whose eyes had darkened to that stormy grey Robbie loved. “You and I, we had a rather…interesting beginning.” As unbelievable as it was, Robbie’s lips twitched, just as he suspected Priest had intended. Then Priest rubbed his thumb over the back of Robbie’s hand and kept talking.
“Most of the people sitting behind me right now know this about us. Or so I’ve recently found out. But here’s the thing about interesting beginnings: they are what hooks us and make us want to come back for a second look. Interesting beginnings are what makes us stop and take notice, like a bright yellow tie in an elevator or a car thief in an alley. They’re what made me stop. They’re what made me look twice. And what I saw staring back at me both times was a man I knew I wanted to look at for the rest of my life.”

This final chapter in the love story between Robbie (the Princess,) Julien (the Prick) and Joel (the Priest.) This book is all about the love between them. We already know their history. There is are no more secrets. No more demons from their past. Now we get to enjoy their connection and watch them get their happily ever after. There are a several teary eyed moments. The happy kind. :) There is a lot more steamy sexual content. You will want to read the entire series to fully understand and appreciate this finale. It's a happy feel good read all round. Written as beautifully as you've come to know (if you've read the prior books.) This one is a little shorter in length than the other books, but still a full length novel. You will love these characters even more than you already did going into this book. Suitable for mature readers.
A brilliant celebration of the love between three of my favorite characters ever! What an incredible way to put the cherry on the proverbial cake!
After all that Robbie, Julien and Priest have gone through together, it was great to see them get this big romantic send-off in this fourth and final book in the Confessions series. This is definitely the most romantic chapter in their story, with Julien and Priest pulling out all the stops for their Princesse. Yet it never gets corny or predictable, the intensity and the depth of their feelings is never in doubt and always so powerful and moving. If anything, it continues to build and grow ever stronger.
Reconnecting with these three amazing characters, when they are so settled in domestic bliss, was a pleasure. I have to say that I’d been looking forward to the moment where Julien and Priest got to meet Robbie’s family, openly. And it was everything I hoped for! I adored Robbie’s father most of all. Though of course his entire family is a delight.
I also very much enjoyed Logan’s and Tate’s appearances throughout the story. Robbie, Logan and Tate have come far, and I love the bond between them. Logan’s protectiveness of Robbie is so endearing.
I all but melted when I read the epilogue!! What a wonderful surprise awaited us there <3

3.25 ⭐
I liked it, but I started to get a bit bored with the story since this is the 4th book following the same MCs and I felt like, contrary to the previous ones, this one didn't have much going on for it in terms of interesting plot points.
I did enjoy the beginning when they meet Robbie's family though.
