This was an okay rom com. It was the second book I have read in the series and as with the first book I read, I had an issue with the form of the story rather than the actual storyline. I found the many different viewpoints distracting and it took away my ability to engage in the storyline. The storyline was good but I just couldn’t get into it.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Head Over Feet is the latest installment in the "Seven Brides for Seven Mothers Series" series, which is a favorite of mine. I loved the banter and the family dynamics in this book. It was a fun, quick and easy read that won't disappoint. This is one of those series that you definitely need to read the other books to keep up with the characters in the series.

read if you love: enemies to lovers, yachts, the rich, childhood friends

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an advance review copy (ARC) in exchange for an honest review.

I’ve been excited for Grady and Bree’s story ever since their interaction in “You’re So Vain.” Their story does not disappoint when Bree’s childhood crush turns into her biggest enemy.
These characters are endearing with the Royal siblings and the meddling mothers. Dineen’s writing is engaging sprinkled with humor and heart. With flirty banter and witty dialogue this is a charming rom-com that I didn’t want to put down until it was finished.
Thank you to the author for the opportunity to read an advanced copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This was a cute friends-to-enemies-to-lovers book!
Bree was a little immature most of the book, but I liked watching her grow. Absolutely love Sophie and Grady’s banter! And I loved Queen Charlotte getting so overly involved haha

I was sent a free ARC copy from Hidden Gems and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.

Aubrey is a princess and she's been head over heels in love with her brother's best friend since they were children. And she's been trying to hide it since basically she fell for him. But she hides it badly. Her emotions cause her to act out. Grady isn't much better. He's got a huge crush on Bree, but feels like he's not the kind of guy she should marry (because he's a boat captain, and not a prince). Finally, their families have had enough, and start scheming on how to get them to quite avoiding each other.

I'm a huge fan of the royalty/normie or celeb/normie trope, as well as enemies to lovers, and this had both of those IN SPADES. I haven't read any of the other books in this series, but I wasn't a huge fan of either Bree or Grady. The writing was great, but I was very annoyed by both the main characters, and couldn't get into them. as individuals. Bree is a Princess blah blah blah, but that kind of attitude from a grown-ass-adult is annoying. Plus, the book went from hate to lust to love really quickly. I wanted more meat! Good, but I wanted more.

I was provided an ARC copy of this book through Netgalley. My thanks to the publisher and the author for providing it to me.
