So horribly written.
adventurous dark mysterious medium-paced

Had a really hard time getting into the book. But the last few chapters were interesting. Not sure if I'll finish the series.

I’m convinced this book started as a moth fan fic.

0% chance of continuing the series.

for most the book it felt like a raunchy parody of romantasy books, slow going and unbelievable. The romance at the end picked up and the final reveal clicked a lot of things into place so now I’m intrigued to see how things play out with the new information revealed. I always have mixed feelings about the main character hiding information from us, on the one hand and unreliable narrator can be annoying but on the other a reveal later on can be quite satisfying

2.5. juvenile, cringe writing throughout.. but i did enjoy the endings plot twist.

Solidly middle of the road. I feel like I might have liked this one better reading instead of listening. I didn’t get enough buy-in from how the narrators read it. The beginning was interesting, the middle plodded along, then the end felt rushed with most of the plot.

DNF at 67%. The book tries to be good but just keeps missing the mark.

5/5

this book was amazing front to back. this book kept me in the edge of my seat giggling and smiling. the only thing i won’t comment on would be the pacing of the mmc being obsessed with the mfc. i’m a lover for slow burn and it just felt like it came from nowhere and rushed. love this though can’t wait for the sequel:D
