El bodrio más entretenido que he leído jajaja la verdad es un libro malisimo, pero me gustó jajaja no se que más agregar. Ah bueno es tipo cualquier libro de fae qué hayas leído más un montón de dark romance
This one was interesting… the main character suffers from “I’m too pretty problems” and it can be very insufferable at times. Every man wants her and people are beside themselves about her beauty. She also knows she’s super pretty, so we get descriptions of her seeing herself in the mirror and saying she doesn’t wear makeup because people are already too distracted by her beauty. Like I said, a bit insufferable.
The male protagonist is very hard to like. He spends most of the book trying to kill the FMC. He tries to torture her, roughs her up, locks her up with assassins, etc. He’s also just downright mean to everyone else in the book. Then all of a sudden he flips a 180 and decides he’s obsessed with the girl and no one but him can touch her. He goes from wanting her dead and humiliated to declaring he loves her in like 2 chapters.
The rest of the book itself gets repetitive in the writing. It’s also rather boring before the FMC makes it to the Fae lands because we just watch her try and find mushrooms for 30% of the book. The ending had a big plot twist but I wouldn’t say a good one. It felt rushed and not very believable. The spicyness is on the cool side but there are a couple scenes toward the end of the book. Overall, not the story for me. If I were to read the second book, it would solely be out of boredom/wanting to know how it ends.
