The moth talk at the beginning was boring but the story picked up once we met Mendax. Which was about a quarter or so through the book. I do wish Callie had more depth to her. She didnt really stand out. She was just sorta of there. I also feel like there wasn't that much chemistry between her and Mendax and that he also fell in love with her so quickly without any good reasoning. It went from 0-100 real fast. That being said, I really enjoyed the story line and had fun with it for the most part. I will read the rest of the series at some point!

I kept waiting for the moment I was going to scream and freak out like everyone on tik tok, but I was just mildly surprised by the plot twist. It was interesting but didn't live up to the hype

This book was crazy from start to finish! I was inhaling this plot line and these characters nonstop. The ending has such a wild plot twist that I did not see coming!! Amazing book cannot WAIT for the next one!!
