Oh how I love this series and Richelle Mead in general. I had a day of mourning after finishing this book just because I was sad that it was over. Really excellent and deep emotional writing. This book breaks the mold a bit in terms of the Vampire Academy formula - Rose is off on her own dealing with her own life and her own demons regarding Dimitri. Heartbreaking and moving in many ways.
