this book suffered a bit from trying to introduce too many new characters and settings at once -- it worked for me in some regards, but led the book to drag a bit in other parts
i thought the fight scenes were really well done, especially the bridge fight between rose and strigoi!dimitri! the one between lissa and avery was also pretty cool, even if i didn't really care about that plotline much -- i get avery wanted to make herself more powerful, but she just kinda felt like a filler villain and i kind of would have preferred it if she wasn't there and the real battle was just rose/dimitri
this also definitely could have used more christian, i'm absolutely not biased at all because he's my favorite character idk what you mean

Oh my gosh this book was wonderful! Richelle brought out so many emotions in me that I didn't even know I possessed! I was heartbroken, sad, angry, jealous, joyful, and everything in between.
I think Richelle did the best she could with the plots. I enjoyed learning about the Alchemists and meeting Dimitri's family (though it could have ended a little better) and even the scenes with Rose and Dimitri. My favorite part was Abe, especially after I found out his true identity! That was a hoot! I didn't see it coming at all. Also, the fighting scene with Lissa was incredible! I loved how Rose and Lissa were able to communicate back and forth. Amazing! I just thought it was excellent and hopefully Spirit Bound doesn't disappoint!
