I loved this bookkkk. My only complaint is that I wish we would’ve gotten just the tiniest bit more romance in this romance novel. Don’t get me wrong Juliet needed to put up the fight that she did because it made sense for the plot. I guess, maybe, I’m just wishing this book was longer lol. Because just as I suspected I LOVED KILLIAN. He and his brother are both simps for the women they love. Who doesn’t love a big tough killer who will fall at the feet of the woman he loves. I also adore that this author has tough FMC’s. Who match their MMC’s in banter but also in tough behavior. And I will forever be a fan of the “he falls first” trope. Loved it!

So I do really like Killian, maybe more than Liam, but I did feel like this book was just too similar to the previous one. Sure Killian isn’t as brooding, but the women r the same age, and both choose to fight their attraction to their relative Black brother until they r worn down.
Overall, I enjoyed the book but that Killian’s story wasn’t just a reiteration of Liam’s.
