This is book THREE of the Witchlore series and absolutely one of my favorite witchy series’. I ate this one up just as I had the first two. I absolutely recommend reading the first two to catch up and understand book 3.  We have magic, a small town & some politics with the covens. The character development and world building in this is🤌🏼 and I just absolutely adored Ellowyn and Zander.

This book we trail along Ellowyn as she pieces apart the history within her family and along the way finds that her own magic is stronger than she ever thought. Is she a threat….you’re about to find out. I cannot wait for more! I absolutely love Becks writing and always look forward to her new releases.

Thank you @netgalley and @harlequintradepublishing for the arc in exchange for my honest review.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for sending me this digital ARC to review.

When I was sent this ARC and realized it was the third book in a series, I immediately read the other two books featuring Emerson (Book 1) and Rebekah (Book 2). I love this series! This book features Ellowyn (and Zander). At first Ellowyn was a bit unlikable in my opinion but I grew to really love her once I understood her. I think so far out of the three stories, she has had the most growth.

The story in Truly Madly Magically delves deeper into Ellowyn's history. It explores her relationship with her father's family, Zander, and her own witch-ness. She is forced to understand and accept her half-human status and focus on the strengths from it, rather than her imagined weakness from it. Ellowyn and Zander must also deal with the decade-long resentment spawned from a misunderstanding of what she wanted and Zander's intentions. Through it all, Ellowyn begins to understand that her powers are stronger than she ever imagined and that she and her friends are a threat to the current corrupt ruling coven.

Truly Madly Magically also follows the Riverwood Coven's bid for ascension. They along with the Joywood Coven are called to begin the steps toward the vote which is to take place on Samhein. The Joywood try very hard to weaken the Riverwood through Ellowyn and her self-doubt due to her half-human status. They show their true (dark) colors and witchkind begins to see them for who they really are.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I am looking forward to the next books and mysteries that were alluded to in this and the previous books, such as Georgie's relationship, the "silly little fairy tale," and the significance of newel post.

Book three in this series!!! I received this as an arc through NetGalley and I am absolutely hooked. If you love witchy plot lines with a little political upheaval thrown in this is the series for you. These books are set in the small town of St Cyprian at the convergence of three rivers (immensely powerful for magic). It gives small town Gilmore girl vibes, with some political upheaval discovery of witches style. A group of friends come together to form their own coven and oust the current ruling coven. I cannot wait for the fourth and final book of this series.

This book is the third installment of the Witchlore series. It centers on the sarcastic, often standoffish half-witch and the pivotal role she plays within the Riverwood coven’s ascension to the ruling coven of witch kind. It features powerful personal growth within Ellowyn and it inspired me to be more like her by letting go of anger. The world building was incredible and very vivid. Hazel Beck’s story telling is enticing and engaging. I would highly recommend this for readers who like a bit of light fantasy and magic within the contemporary world. Thank you Harlequin Trade Publishing for the opportunity to read this ARC!!
