I can only imagine that the proper 7 Seas translation will do this series justice, honestly, but props to this FTL!
Sooo good. While it sometimes felt challenging to read (what with the translations, and just one continuous book [as opposed to many volumes in a series], it felt longer.) Still, the quality of the story shone through. Will definitely reread when the official translation is out!!

The MC, Lin Qingyu, goes through amazing character development, and has me rooting wholeheartedly for his happiness by the end of his first husband's lifetime. The scene in the snow was so tragic and really sets an amazing tone for how the rest of the story will progress. The angst lies in the scenes after each death of his husbands, and makes the yearning hit so hard. The ML's personality is so refreshing, and such a great foil to Lin Qingyu's own shy/evil personality. He's not too possessive, takes thing in stride, and has a general positive attitude that things will work out; I loved both of them so much.Spoiler
