Yas, Ronda! She is such a great athlete, and has lived a life full of ups and downs. It was interesting to read about her childhood, upbringing, and how she got into judo which led not only to the Olympics but to MMA/UFC! Great job, Rousey!

All I have to say about this book is: Inspiring.

I flew through reading this one. Easily one of the most inspirational books I've ever read. I'm so impressed with her and her story and how well it was put down on paper. This is something I will go back to for inspiration again and again. It has truly impacted me and Ronda Rousey is truly a badass.

An interesting story about how she got to where she was. Very inspiring. A little bit of an ego, but other than that a great read!

Very straightforward writing style. Woman likes to beat people up and win. Hope she finds some less shitty boyfriends tho.

4.5 stars.

I had watched all the Ronda Rousey fights since her start in the UFC. I must say I judges her as someone who was handed everything in life. then she released this book, I figured what the heck I'll read it. I read it in one sitting. I could not put it down. It gave me an insight into her drive and I gained so much respect for her. This expressed all of her struggles and views. I'm now a Rousey fan. It is a good read if you need some inspiration.

If you're not a Ronda Rousey fan before reading this book, you definitely will be after you've it. How she has managed to succeed despite facing personal tragedy will inspire you to strive to achieve your own personal goals. I liked that the chapters in this bio was short and it was written in a very conversational format so the reader feels like they're actually talking to Ronda. Definitely a must read for MMA fans, women or anyone in general.

Fantastically insightful.

Ronda Rousey knows what it means to hustle. She knows loss, pain, heartbreak, and the mental anguish that comes with questioning every fibre of your being. The routine of having to pick yourself up and try again is hard, and knowing that someone who is so much in the spotlight fought that same fight (literally and figuratively) makes life seem like it's not so bad. If Ronda can do it, I can do it.
She is surprisingly relatable, funny in her own way, and totally badass. Reading this book gave me boosts where I wanted to go out and kick some ass, no matter what I happened to be doing. Her fierceness is contagious, and I often felt like there was nothing I couldn't do after reading a few chapters.

I feel like I've learned so much about Ronda as a person- before, she was just that hardcore fighter who's only lost once, that arrogant fighter the media likes to try to tear down. After finishing this book, I can see why her complete and total confidence in herself is perceived as arrogance. When you don't know any better, of course it looks negative.

I feel like Ronda and I would get along if we met in person, because while we live two totally different lives, I feel connected to her struggle and how my own struggles have affected me.
If you're going through something right now, whatever struggle you may be facing- read this book. It's surprisingly full of inspiration, motivation, and ways to find that light at the end of the tunnel. You don't need to know anything about UFC or different fighting styles to read this book. While it touches on her rise to UFC fame, this book is NOT about the UFC. It's about Ronda, and her life.

Fantastic read. I definitely recommend this one.

Fascinating story, but overall kind of awkwardly put together. The explanatory asides were not very logically placed and the story as a whole didn't flow very well. It gets a little bogged down in who she fought during which tournament and how she beat said opponents which got pretty dry in some places and the pace is pretty jerky. Overall, it reads like Ronda is talking to you which makes it a fast read, but not particularly eloquent. Definitely a motivating and inspiring story, though! I appreciated the tone setting at the beginning of each chapter and the way she would round it out into a good lesson for moving forward.
