Reading through Ronda's trajectory and the struggles she endured prior to even reaching the UFC was truly illuminating. I had known some pieces about her life from things that I had read about or heard from others, but I hadn't understood just where she hailed from and who she was as a person until going through this book. I actually listened to this as an audiobook, as read by Ronda herself, and it was heart-wrenching at moments. There were moments where she literally cried whilst reading and I could feel tears welling in my own eyes. However, there were also moments where she laughed and exclaimed and it made the journey through this book (and her life) much more enjoyable when she narrated her own narrative. It was beautifully done, and I very much would recommend this to anyone who is or isn't a fan of UFC.
I really enjoyed the first part of this book, but got bored as it went on. The writing style was too repetitive in its cliche inspirational/motivational lines. Overall I enjoyed learning about her life. I think I find her less likable after reading this, but I have a lot of respect for her.
I really liked this book. It was motivating and showed how hard work and determination can get you to where you want to be. Ronda is one badass woman who you would not want to mess with

“The fight is yours to win.”
Ronda Rousey is an Olympic medalist in judo and the undefeated UFC women’s champion. In her autobiography she details her life growing up, the tragic loss of her father at a very young age, her struggles with relationships, her dedication to judo, and the challenging road to becoming the undefeated UFC women’s champion, sharing life lessons along the way.
My Fight/Your Fight is the story of an inspiring journey of incredible dedication, difficult challenges, hard-fought battles, life-lessons and success. Rousey teamed up with her sister Maria Burns Ortiz in creating this book, and the final product is well-written, engaging, and truly uplifting. Each chapter begins with a message or a lesson such as: Know When to Move On, People Around You Control Your Reality, and Do Not Accept Less than What You’re Capable Of. It then goes into personal stories and life experiences. It is written and presented in a way that makes it relatable to everyone in addition to UFC and Ronda Rousey fans. I highly recommend this book to anyone who finds themselves in need of an encouraging word and whole lot of inspiration.

Favourite quote: “I never would have been able to do any of those things without hope. The kind of hope I’m talking about is the belief that something good will come. That everything you’re going through and everything you’ve gone through will be worth the struggles and frustrations. The kind of hope I’m talking about is a deep belief that the world can be changed, that the impossible is possible.”

The truth is, I loved this book. I was unsure I would—although Ronda is my favorite fighter, celebrity bios aren't always compelling. But I'm walking away with an even-deeper appreciation of her work. Ronda is focused and driven, and seeing a strong female role model is inspiring. This book offers great insight into what has made her the woman she is.
I don't read many autobiographies because quite frankly I don't care to know most people beyond the surface. I was however interested in getting beyond the surface of Rowdy Ronda Rousey because let's face it, she is a game changer. Four years ago Dana White, the president of UFC, said that no women would ever fight in UFC; and then Ronda came along and changed his mind. Her talent, looks, and determination set her apart from the rest; she is a pioneer and has set the standard for women MMA fighters in UFC.
This book was written by Ronda and her sister, Maria Burns Ortiz. I agree with Toft's Reviews in that they "make an excellent writing team. The writing is uplifting and positive, with lessons applicable to everyday life. The format is clean and simple. Each chapter starts with a moral, lesson or message that is then expanded with Rousey’s real life experiences." I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and have more respect for Ronda as a person and MMA fighter.

~3.5 stars~
From the start of her narrative, I could just feel the strength and vigor in Ronda. She is willing to put her all to win a fight and she never messes around. She is confident in her abilities and knows what is capable of doing in the ring. One important thing that stood out in her memoir is her unwavering believe that she knew what she could do and she wasn't hesitant about being "egoistic" as outside may call it in her absolute belief in herself.
There were many passages that she wrote before the start of every chapter that I loved and have highlighted many for future quote references.

It was so awesome to be able to read about someone that I can truly say is someone that inspires me. She has done so much with her life and she's only 27.
Rousey is a badass and an amazing role model for anyone. Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book!
