A compelling mix of autobiography and positive thinking from the greatest athlete of all time.
One of the best biographies I've read (admittedly not a huge bio reader), it is a compelling read for MMA enthusiasts and people who don't know what the UFC even is. Her sister has done a remarkable job, to the point where I often felt like it was being read by Rousey in her slightly husky voice.
Great book but could have been 100 pages shorter.
Ronda is a badass. I liked her attitude in the book, but at times she was way cocky.
I enjoy a good biography every once in a while, especially an autobiography. It is interesting to get a first hand account of the lives of exceptional people who do exceptional things. An added bonus for this particular autobiography is that the audiobook version (which I listened to) was read by Rousey herself. I was curious to learn what drove Rousey to get into MMA fighting in the first place as well as what made her so dominant while she was in it. The book was written while Rousey was still the undefeated UFC champion. It would have been interesting to hear her accounts of her subsequent defeats and thoughts on her eventual leaving MMA for other pursuits. Though she does write about the eventuality of her not being champion and leaving a legacy in the last few paragraphs. While this book was no literary work of art, I found myself engaged and enjoying the quick and easy read that it was.

I liked getting inside of her head and seeing how she analyzes her matches and life.
Pretty good for what it was. As I've become more interested, lately, in UFC, I was pretty fascinated by Ronda's journey and how much she put into getting to where she did. Her tales of the Olympics, relationships both family and romantic, and jobs were down-to-earth, even as they were infused with all this high intensity pressure.
I will review this at a later date. I really enjoyed this book. I highly recommend listening to the audio book as well as reading it. Hearing the emotion from Ronda herself was great. loved the childhood memories and interesting listening to her break into acting career. I cannot believe she published this in 2015 she was only in her 20s. She is only a few years younger than me and all she has accomplished as well as how many careers and highs and lows she's had.
Enjoyed this. She's a very driven woman which is good mental training ahead of next month - and it's a funny read, too!
