Ok ok, this one has its flaws, of course it does BUT just let me enjoy it ok?? It was sweet, a bit obnoxious at times and the main characters obviously have some *serious* unpacking to do, but it was such a quick and refreshing read that I can’t even be mad at it

Hard Sell was unputdownable! Lauren Layne writes the best characters and this book was no exception. The banter between Matt and Serena was hot and hilarious. I really, really loved this and can't wait for Kennedy's book!

Hard Sell is a frenemies to lovers romance. I had a blast reading it. I love the world of New York that Lauren Layne has created. Friendship is a big theme in this book. I always love when there are actually other relationships in a story than just the one between the main couple. Speaking of main characters, I really adored these two. They were both a little damaged, but really wanting the happiness of love deep down. This is the second book in the stand-alone series. You don’t have to read the first book, but I think you will enjoy the friendships more of you do. I cannot wait until I get to spend more time with this gang in the next book.

I picked this purely because I it was free and I wanted to listen to another book narrated by Zachary Webber and he delivered as he always does, and did an amazing job with his side of the story. But dear lord the female narrator was so… ugh. Everything she said was so overly formal and felt forced and stiff. It was so difficult so follow her parts of the book that I couldn’t tell you if it was such a struggle to get through because of her narration or the predictable plot line, which I expected going on considering the kind of book this is and doesn’t usually bother me. But her reactions to things just didn’t make sense. Everything she did felt forced just to cause trouble in the story.

Mostly fun, a little sad. Matt & Sabrina’s story is well written & edited. The story moves quickly & was a good read. Sabrina, Ian’s best friend & a PR powerhouse, has to reform Matt’s image after a huge scandal featuring pictures taken at a bachelor party. They have an enemies & lovers thing going on, so working together might be impossible. 4⭐️

Sabrina has been using Matt and being used by Matt for booty calls, they dislike each other or the sexual tension is enough between them they can't help but fight when ever they are around each other. Matt demands she helps him and shes unable to say no, they begin to open up to each other which causes more problems.

Love Love Love this book. It was as addictive as the last and I really enjoyed Sabrina. I have an image in my head for her and she is sort of like Olivia Pope but she is sexier. I like her sass, I love her style and I think Matt and her make a cute fictional couple.
