I have enjoyed this book far more than I have enjoyed the first one, which is amusing. Let’s see where Kate and Kennedy take us.
Cute
This was cute. Light and easy read. Something to read inbetween books. I would recommend this book but wouldn't buy it

I really enjoyed Hard Sell! The second book in the 21 Wall Street series is a fast paced, fun and entertaining "frienemies-to-lovers"/fake relationship rom com with Lauren Layne's typical humor, sass and natural charm.
Sabrina Cross and Matthew Cannon's chemistry is great. Whether they were bickering or falling in love, their connection shined. I enjoyed the characters individually just as much as them together. Matthew's charisma and his confident swagger may be my favorite thing about him. Confidence is always sexy. Even when he gets into trouble you know he's genuinely a good guy. As for Sabrina, she was my star. I love a strong female character and Sabrina is as strong as they come. Her determination and strong will are what I admire the most. She's had to overcome a lot to get to where she is now - a tough and successful PR woman.
Hard Sell is definitely worth a pick up. Lauren Layne words are so effortless and easy. Every time I finish a Lauren Layne book, I think to myself "I need to read more from this author immediately!" I can't wait to read the next book in this series. Kennedy...yes please!!

Hard Sell was so much to read from start to finish. Lauren Layne is always going to be a favourite author of mine.
This book was my second Lauren Layne book and I absolutely loved it. Her characters are absolutely wonderful, and so much fun to read about. I didn't have any faults with the book at all, but I just didn't enjoy it as much as the first one (for a reason I can't pinpoint), but it still is absolutely outstanding.
- The characters are fantastic
- The writing is so enjoyable; not over descriptive but just right
- The plot is a LOT of fun
- It's sexy to the point of being purely captivating
- SO much fun
- I can't wait to read more of her books
- It's set in a real life setting but feels so perfectly set away from the world I live in that immersing myself into it was a lot of fun and a brilliant dose of escape
This was one of the best adult romances I've ever read and I can't recommend this, and the first one, enough. These books are the perfect dose of escapism and Lauren Layne is without a doubt an author I would turn to in times of having a need to escape from real life. This is the sort of stuff that dreams are made of, and the kind of book that made me fall in love with reading in the first place.

I wanted to love this book. I almost, ALMOST, did. But, the last 85% felt really rushed and kind of out of the blue for me.
Sabrina and Matt have history. It's a little unpleasant but they put their personal feelings aside to help rehab Matt's professional life when an unfortunate picture taken at a bachelors party in Vegas lands him in hot water with his bosses.
The set up was really good and I enjoyed the characters a lot. I loved the friendships among the 3 Wall Street friends. If there is one thing Lauren Layne can do really well, it's write witty, humorous exchanges between friends who've been friends for a long time.
However, Matt's unexpected question in response to gossip columns and Sabrina's response had me feeling a little lost and baffled. It's like the author lost the thread at that point and knew she needed a way to wrap up the book; however, I will say that the very end of the book was delightful and I'm now even more excited for Kennedy's book.
This was so close to a 5 star read for me. ALMOST but not quite.
