Hard Sell

I feel like this one fell a little short for me.. I liked it.. but there was something missing.. It wasn't terrible.. I found myself struggling to read it..

He needs her. She wants him. Will pleasure trump business or will their chemistry blow up in their faces. Hard Sell is an easy read with a whole lot of temptation thrown in for good measure. Layne takes readers back into the fast paced world of trading with a naughty broker and his image fixer. Matt is young, sexy, wealthy and a hit with the ladies. He's also a genius on the trading floor, which makes his bad boy image a liability when it comes to his clients. Enter Sabrina. Her skills are legendary when it comes to PR. She knows just how to fix any problem including a playboy with a wicked reputation. Theirs is a battle of wills that never seems to shut off. They quickly go from choice words and hot looks to stolen kisses and deep feelings. What happens when the person that drives you crazy becomes the one you can't live without? Hard Sell is a pressure cooker of chaos just waiting to explode.

Enemies to lovers
Misunderstanding from four years ago, not quite sure what was said, but I wished we had a flashback.

I listen to this on audible. The voice acting was good. I think that was the only thing that kept me going. The book itself was boring. It was super predictable.

I loved this read so much I devoured it within the day, I couldn’t get enough of these two and they gave me butterflies!

Something happened between Sabrina Cross and Matt Cannon 4 years ago which made them enemies, enemies with benefits that is! I was completely engrossed by this story, I loved Sabrina and Matt, their chemistry was so intense, there’s a constant spark between them that once ignited there’s not just flames, it explodes!

So begins a tale of hate turning to love but it is not uneventful, funny with great dialogue and a cast of characters that add greatly to this story.
lighthearted fast-paced

This was a really fun read it is the second book in the series and is just as good if not better than the first one. I am a huge fan of a good fake relationship romance and Matt and Sabrina's book does not disappoint I just loved the bickering between these two it had me chuckling at times this is a really good well written addition to the series and I cannot wait for more

The second book in the 21 Wall Street series is definitely a must read. I was so excited to read Matt and Sabrina’s story because of the fact that even though they didn’t like one another they were still drawn to one another. They forced each other to come to terms with things that they didn’t necessarily want come to terms with. I also loved their interactions in this book because it helped build up of the sexual tension between them and you couldn’t wait to see when they would finally give in to the attraction. I can’t for the next installment of this series!

Matt has screwed up. He has put not only his reputation on the line but also the firms reputation. And now he needs to clean up his act to get his bosses, clients, and potential clients favor back, and the only way to do that is to find a girlfriend. Unfortunately he isn’t looking for a relationship and doesn’t just want to find just anyone, he needs someone he can trust and who won’t fall in love with him. He needs Sabrina.

Sabrina can’t believe she is going to help Matt out by having him hire her as his girlfriend. She can’t stand the man even though they have been enemies with benefits for awhile. But she knows how much he loves his job and decides she can use this time to make him pay for what he said to her that first night. What she isn’t prepared for is how she will finally see the real Matt like never before.

Matt and Sabrina think that with their contract in place everything will work out in the end. But they aren’t prepared for finally letting themselves think about how it could be if they were really a couple. Will they be able to make it through their contract without falling in love? Or will they finally figure out that the one thing they have been looking for has been right in front of them?

this was surprisingly cute. sort of. yeah cute.
