Not quite as good and Remember me but well worth the read. It did end a bit quickly at 94% so beware as there is a chapter of one of her other books at the end. Really annoying as I was looking forward to reading it in a waiting room.

The book was a bit over dramatic in places but there again it wasn't a dull read.

Going to find another of her books to read.

AMAZING I loved it so much wow. When Lesley Pearse said her books were full of 'misery, misery, misery', she wasn't kidding! This was the most misery to hit a main character yet! Loved the book though. And set in the early 90s is lovely to read slightly more modern times.

I really like how Lesley writes, it is so easy to read.

She perfectly portrays Eva as the girl next door who faces challenges like we all do but finds the strength within to rise again.

Forgive me is another fantastic book by Lesley Pearse! Another one I just couldn’t put down!

It starts with the most vivid and heart wrenching thing, the death of Eva’s mother! Flora (Eva’s mother) had committed suicide in the bathtub at home where Eva came home from work and found her.

This horrible event is what starts the beginning of Eva’s emotional roller coster of events to find out who her mother was and what her past was like but also to find out who her real father was. The answers to her questions made her fall into a black hole. But she made it through!

There was way to much death and heart break for poor Eva but she is such a strong and resilient girl in the end!

Her past ended up being really interesting and where she came from was not expected! But she ended up with a better up bringing than what she could have had!

She started her search with no one and ended up with a family and love! What more could one want!

One of the worst books I've ever read.

The characters are incredibly flat and boring.

I enjoyed this book. The writing is quite understandable but the story is very predictable. It's an enjoyable reading but it was just okay, nothing espectacular.

Average. This was the first Lesley Pearse novel I have read and found the style of writing very hohum, a lot of telling but not showing. The amount of tragedy Eva underwent I'm surprised she didn't commit suicide! It felt like it would never end
