3.5. An interesting future for DC that seems really plausible, with beautiful art, and a great use of Captain Marvel. It felt like Marvel's Civil War, but more refined.

This one's a classic, or so I've been told, but as much as I loved the fabulous artwork and the narration style, I didn't find the overall story to be that enjoyable. Maybe it's just the fact that I've been growing out of superhero fiction, something I've been feeling a lot lately, or maybe it's just because it's ancient and I'm only reading it now, after having read countless other works on similar themes. The ending was really beautiful, though. I'd give it a 3.5.
