I loved this book as a kid. It’s actually a bunch of nonsense. It’s nothing like I remember it. It’s basically just short stories about a mouse human. Bizarre and boring.

Glad I listened to the audio book, the narrator was fun to listen to!

I honestly can't remember if I read this as a child or not. Jackson enjoyed it, but not as much as Homer Price. It's whimsical and is clear White is a great prose writer, but it's very random. Story has no real arc, and we're asked to do an awful lot of suspension of disbelief. Will try Trumpet of the Swan soon.

I feel like I shouldn't say this about such a classic, but I really did not like this book at all. The plot didn't go anywhere and the story didn't seem to resolve at all. Plus Stuart Little is kind of a snotty brat. Maybe I'm missing the point of the book, I don't know. My kids thought it was OK. Such a let down since we all adore Charlotte's Web!

It ended too soon! I thought it was precious and I love the way E. B White writes!

I loved this book as a kid, and even acted in it in a theatre production. However, it was far less adventurous than I remembered, and reading it had me wondering what kind of messages I was instilling in my kiddo. Stuart throws so many tantrums about basically nothing! Charlotte’s Web feels better to me, but ultimately both are less strong than I remember!

Story is less of a single story and more of a bunch of little stories (no pun intended).

Kids did not like the ending
Spoilersince Stuart never finds Margalo.

This book is WILD

I found this book to be extremely well written. White's ability to put words on the page is excellent. My four year old son really enjoyed it.

I do have to say that the situations that Stuart gets himself involved in are a little on the strange side even when you consider that the book is about a 2" tall mouse living as part of a human family. The ending is absurd in the fact that Stuart leaves his family without even saying goodbye. This the reason for only four stars.

Wow, this was a STRANGE book. Not at all like the movie, and it was just way strange...
