I had high hopes for this because the plot sounded like a fun summer read; unfortunately, this was kind of disappointing.
The book was SO weirdly paced. I feel like everything happened so quickly, but then there were parts that felt very repetitive, so that made me skip over a lot of scenes. The flashback scenes were very unnecessary because they added nothing to the relationship between the two MCs.
I really can’t say I cared about the two characters and wanted them to be together for a single second. The only upside is that this book was very short.

This book was not it. Neither character was likable and they had no chemistry IMO.
It’s very spicy but it just felt random. A melting pot of positions and some didn’t feel believable for a pair that just started banging.
Meryl said they wanted to write this because they wanted to use dirty talk. They did But this was just not good.
Usually after a solid WLW read I want to know about the future of characters. I really do not care what happens to Ginny and Elsie.
AND as a Minnesotan… just bad. Don’t take the State Fairs name in vain.
