What a miss. There is very little plot and zero character development — and the times development is attempted the characters’ reactions and motivations make absolutely zero sense. The inner monologues are repetitive, in addition to being kind of insufferable. I’ve read other Meryl Wilsner books and liked them, but this was terrible.
