I know that everybody loves this book but I found few flaws in it I couldn't ignore.
It was trashy at times, honestly I like it rough, especially when there's an alpha male involved(Kristen Ashley does 'rough' perfectly). Here I found it obnoxious.
And Ax's POV is so one track minded. That part when he buys a stash of condoms, knowing that he's going to 'fuck' his 'princess'.
I can't even...
I find that it is really hard for a female author to write in man's POV and succeed.
It didn't work here.
There was a great deal of sexual tension between Iz and Ax but not so much of real love.
And why so much drama, dragging about what happened to Iz, and everyone feeling sorry for her.
I have a weakness for a characters experienced by life but still keeping head up and being brave about it all.

okay, i owe it to Axel to write a review. I loved Axel and well i loved Greg too and Maddox...hell all the corps security guys are described as HOT. The opening scene Oh MY to the Fucking G! So intense...then it kinda stagnated...it seemed like she went from broken to unbroken very fast. I absolutely HATED when Axel called Iz princess...Really?! The sex was hot. I found myself wanting to skip pages though because I was tired of the whining of Iz. I kind of felt that the dramatic clearing of the misunderstanding took too long to clear up. I guess i think too much when i read. i know in real life there are mistakes i make that people looking in might slap a forehead about so i should just stop and enjoy the pretty hot man.

When Iz got her tits pierced, i guess she has super healing powers and someone can be sucking on them right away..maybe Axel is so Damn hot that even his saliva on the boob makes the boob forget herself. Also, why didn't Iz have an order of protection against this guy? I also felt that she was easily found by Brandon because all he had to do was look for Deb.

Izz has a lot of things happen and finally meets Brandon. Brandon isn't what he seems he messes with izz and breaks her down leaving her as a shell of her former self.
Izz finally gets away from the monster who's only wish is to control her, With the help of two amazing friends.
And then when Izz is least expecting it her life goes full circle.
finally things start to work out and when the do they do.
Wow just wow. Grinning at there HEA :) <3 this book

Sexy. Hot, Sensual. Full of angst, longing and desire. Everything a book like this should be.

I put this up because read most of the book already and liked it. no matter the end as long as it's not a good awful cliffhanger done badly it's getting between 4-5 stars.

The update-- read the whole book YAY and I have to say reading it all at once is so much better. there are things i didn't like story elements that make me want to go off Axel because of my time around batter women but over all I really liked this book and it redeem itself. for a debut book it's writing is REALLY good shockingly so kinda makes me wonder why she wasnt writing this whole damn time lol anyways.. great job and wow..

This book has me crying one minute then laughing the next. That is one good author that can make that happen easily. The heartbreak I feel for these characters is almost to much. My heart hurts. But in the end the pieces of their life's are back together and so is mine.
Overall I liked the pacing of this book and the storyline. A few things drug out that in my opinion could and should have been resolved earlier. I was glad Axel and Izzy got their HEA. The secondary characters were good and I especially loved Greg. I'm looking forward to reading more in this series.

Ahhhhhh! Yeah, I think with the description and everything in the book, he's one of the biggest guys to grace my fiction world. He's as you may have already deducted, hot, macho alpha, protective, easily jealous, very intense.
Izzy is his sweetheart from before. They've been through so much, but by some frustrating twist of fate, they lost touch. Fate brings them back together again after Izzy goes through a lot of bad stuff. When Axel finds her, he has his hands full because she's not the girl he left from before. She's battered, broken and ready to just give up. We wouldn't have that, would we? So even though he's mad at her himself, he sets out to find answers as to why everything seems so effed up in her life.
I swear I cried for them and what they've lost. I felt anger for them, I felt their frustration and I felt their sadness for time wasted. :<
When everything comes into focus, they find themselves in each other's arms again... but not without a threat. Izzy's CRAZY EX HUSBAND is out there. He's out for blood. Luckily, Axel is not a guy to be trifled with. PLUS, he has back up. OH AND WHAT SWEET DELICIOUS BACK UPS THEY ARE!!! They all help her throughout the mess that is her crazy ex.
I had fun reading this mainly because of the interaction between ALL of the characters. I think I've mentioned this before in UNEXPECTED FATE, but it bears mentioning again. The strong point of this book is not exactly just the couple themselves. It's their relationship with everyone and the way they just come into the fold. They treat everyone as family. They are just... there. And I love that.
All in all, this is a really good book to start a series with. Awesome introduction!
Read this if you like action, a bit of drama and some hilarious moments!
