This was a great way to end the four book series. I am so glad that I found it by accident and I love how 2 books were written by one author and 2 books were written by another offer but they coincided and played off of each other brilliantly. You got to see each character in a different light while solving a mystery but also seeing how two relationships work. One sister in a new love and one fighting for her marriage. It also had touching moments about their father that reminded me of my dad so overall I absolutely loved it! I will have to check out all the other books by each author.

Walking on Her Grave is the last installment in the Rogue Rivers series, and Melinda Leigh did a fantastic job on concluding this suspenseful series. I was not expecting the ending to end the way it did, especially with who was behind the lethal drug that was going around in Solitude, Oregon. From the minute I started the series, I was anxious to find out if the Oregon town would ever figure out who was behind the deadly drug that was sweeping their town.

I received this book from NetGalley for my honest review.

Walking on her Grave is the fourth and final book in the new "Rouge River" series by authors Kendra Elliot and Melinda Leigh, a series of novellas set in small town Solitude, Oregon.

My review of the other books in the series ~
On Her Father's Grave by Kendra Elliot ~ 4 stars
Gone to her Grave by Melinda Leigh ~ 3 stars
Her Grave Secrets by Kendra Elliot ~ 4 stars

Walking on her Grave completes the story of the town of Solitude and the people in it. In this book, we're back to Carly and Seth, the duo from book two. In this story, the story is all wrapped up, from who was behind the drugs and the killings, where the drugs were made and so on. The story itself seemed a little rushed. I would have liked it dragged out more, but I'm glad that everything got wrapped up well and I was even surprised by it.

This was another enjoyable book. I definitely prefer Stevie and Zane to Carly and Seth. I'm just not a fan of Carly, though I didn't mind her as much in this one. Still, I prefer the more cheerful new couple over the couple who have been together for years, all of the sudden have problems and separate, but are trying to work things out. It was created just for the drama of it, and I don't like stories like that, but that's my own personal issue with it. The story itself was good though I would have liked it to be a little longer an a little more drawn out.

The whole series was really enjoyable. It was a good few books about a good town, good people, and some not so good stuff happening there that they need to stop. Hopefully now the town of Solitude can live in peace, though I'm sorry the series is done, as it was enjoyable. I'm most definitely a Kendra Elliot fan and will read whatever she writes. I'm not sold yet on Melinda Leigh, but I know that's just because everything I have read from her has contained a social worker. I don't know what her fascination with them are, but if I try another book and there are more, I'll definitely be done with reading her books

I'd recommend the Rouge River series for mystery / suspense fans, with a little bit of romance mixed in. The series is just a fun quick read and really enjoyable.

The conclusion of the Rogue River series of novellas. There are four in all, two written by Kendra Elliot and two written by Melinda Leigh. They follow one story arc but from different perspectives. Kendra Elliot's two novellas follow the story of Stevie and Zane while Melinda Leigh's two novellas follow Carly and Seth. There is a little romance, perhaps enough to call these books romantic suspense, but only just.

It's pretty good. I picked the villain fairly early, maybe in the first of the four but there was plenty going on to keep me reading to the end. I think price is an issue. They are quite expensive for novellas...buying all four which will add up to an average sized book will cost $12.00 for the Kindle versions. If you go the audiobook path, you're paying a minimum of $40.00 for all four, and if you foolishly use audible.com credits it is pretty damned close to $50.

I paid my money and I enjoyed it. I don't feel gypped but I think selling all four novellas together for $5.00~$6.00 would be a fair price for everyone...money for the authors and value for the readers.

I decided I wanted to read lighter, shorter books this summer. This set of 4 novellas was perfect for me. I liked how each novella had its own small mystery and was part of a longer story arc that spanned all 4 books.

I definitely want to read the Rogue Winter and Rogue Vow series.

Woah!!!

That was a twist that I didn't see coming, for sure!! I've really enjoyed this series. I highly recommend it!!

A good ending. I figured out who the villain was early on in the series and was glad I was right. Seth and Carly issues..... meh. Dragged on too long and too repetitive.
