This woman never disappoints, honestly! I fan girl her so hard and it was bitter sweet seeing Mary and Hollywood on the pages again.
I love to read, but it isn't often that a book hits me on a deeply personal level. Rhage and Mary? Yep, that's my husband and me at this point in our lives. Infertility and adoption...the emotions really hit home.
As always, this installment was wonderful. While it was centered on Rhage and Mary, there were other stories told. The twist at the end? Awesome! I'm really into Assail. I find him intriguing and can't to see where he's going. Maybe there will be more of him in Xcor and Layla's book. I don't know if it will end well for them...

I listened to the audio version of The Beast. I enjoyed The Beast much more than I have the last few books in the series as this book actually seemed to focus on the characters who it was supposed to be about and didn't depress me. There of course were still the additional plot lines and a lot of jumping around which I've become used to with this series. I do love Rhage and Mary and really enjoyed their story. I'm looking forward to Layla and Xcor's book and finding out more about Jo and see where that story goes.
Can't wait for the next book. I'm going to die from anticipation. Love the Brotherhood. And sisters too. ;-)
I když to byl příběh o mém nejoblíbenějším páru, tak to jejich první knihu nepředčilo. Konec mi byl jasný již od 'Krále'. Mary mě tentokrát neustále štvala, a stále jsem musela křičet, že ji to ještě nenapadlo. Nakonec vše dopadlo podle předpokládaného konce, ale stále to stojí za to si to přečíst, protože tolik nových informací o Bratrstvu, Bastardech a Stvořitelce... To stojí za to!
