I don't care that it's cliche or no surprise in the story at all, I did love this second chance story! Cade is just so weirdly sweet and funny, a combo what is works with me! I was grinning through most of the book, I knew from the beginning that Cade will be my favorite King brother (also fantastic with Bear) and even Iris is grown on me much quicker than her friends. I'm back bit worried about the third book... Somehow I really don't like Miranda, and don't barely know anything about Nick....
After reading book one in this series I fell in love with cade and iris. This author is brilliant with the sassy, witty women and their counterparts chasing up a storm. Iris is no exception. You want her to be your bbf, and even though she's hating on cade, it's hilarious to read and see if they can work through it. Cafe is an absolute star. I couldn't stop laughing at his antics and comments. They way he deals out life lessons to bear had me chuckling away throughout the book. A must read book.

Anyone But Cade was a genuinely enjoyable and fun story. With entertaining characters in Cade and Iris, who possessed a wonderful charm and appeal. Although, I felt they were both missing a little of that humour and snark, I so enjoyed in Anyone But Rich.
But with the introduction of Bear, who I adored and who really brought out the best in Cade and Iris. This truly was a great second chance romance. Plus, there's no denying it was a fun, easy, sweet and at times sexy story. Which easily kept me entertained and I certainly enjoyed it a good deal more than Anyone But Rich, and so, I Would happily recommend it to others.

Loved it
This one is so much better than the first. Cade made me laugh out loud! And Bear is just so cute. Onto book 3!

Same as the first book in the series, this story has everything from funny moments to heartbreak ones.
I enjoyed a bit more this one than the first book though. I laughed more and as Cade was always more of The King Buffoon was difficult to see him more serious but everyone has a different side of them to show when they want something really bad.
Let’s see what the next book brings on.

Cade is awesome. There is definitely a reason that guys with senses of humor are hot. Not only is Cade funny, but sweet and caring, too. I laughed a lot listening to this one. And the cameo in the second epilogue? Priceless.
Another great instalment to this series, I loved the first book Anyone but Rich and this is just as good as the first book. We return to familiar characters and this time to Cade and Iris’s story, full of chemistry and humour, the kind of book that’s an easy read but very addictive too. It’s fun and flirty and can’t wait for the next I’m assuming anyone but nick ! A great read.

First of all I'd like to thank Montlake Romance for sharing an ARC of this book in exchange for my review.
Seven years ago, Iris was in high school and was a promising soccer player when some laced brownies were found in her locker and she was kicked off the team. They weren't here brownies but those of her boyfriend, Cade. She was so upset she broke up with him and she swore a pact with her two best friends that they wouldn't have anything to do with Cade and his brothers. The brothers left town after high school but recently returned as the wealthy owners of a company. One of the three friends has already connected with and married one of the brothers. Iris comes into contact with Cade early on and things are a bit frosty at first but with time their relationship changes and they get to know each other as adults rather than the teenagers they once were.
This was a pretty cute romance and it was already a foregone conclusion how it would end from the start. The nice parts came along finding out how that eventuates. The most interesting twist in this tale is the added character of Bear, who seems to help bring the two together more than they might have in other circumstance. There were a couple mysteries that were kind of obvious but they played out well. Like other Penelope Bloom stories I've read, the main characters are pretty likable and these were no different.
I give this a solid 3.5 stars.
