Ok. I liked this one the best, I think. Definitely a guilty pleasure. Loved the Inspector Gadget moment, that was hilarious. All in all a fun little series...

This is third book in the FUC series. Viktor did play a big part in the other book but you didn't really know him very well. When he rescued Renee he had no idea she was gonna change his whole life.
Renee had been captured by the mastermind when she was a young child. Renee has be tortured and experiment on over the years. When being rescued Renee attached herself to Viktor and all through book isn't far from him.
At the beginning I wasn't sure of these to together because there completely different personalities. Viktor brings out the more serious and balanced in the relationship but Renee lets see everything new and exciting.
I like that all other characters make an appearance and also help in places with the investigation. Loved story and ending HEA.

“It’s not that big of a deal. I accidentally fell in a vat of radioactive waste.”

This series continues to be delightfully goofy and full of random sex. Okay, it's maybe not random...more like all the time...? In any case, it's fluffy (literally) and fun and the villain still cracks me up. I also like that you already know all of the background characters from previous books. I can tell this is going to be a series I return to when I need a break from serious things.

This book seemed to wrap up a major plotline, though, so I'm curious to see what's going on in the next book...other than all of the sexy times, of course. ::winks::

Humorous and hot as always :) I took a star off because of some typos, and because of a huge pet-peeve of mine... If an author wants to use a foreign language, I wish the simple sentences used were correct.

3.5.

I really enjoyed the first half, and really enjoyed Renee and seeing all the stuff from her eyes. About the time she shifted it went downhill again for the same reasons I had with book one (I found it all a little too comical and over the top to enjoy) but overall it was a good story.

Renee & Viktor

This book really clears up a lot of loose ends for me.
We get to find out about the master mind. And just how evil they can be.
We get to see Miranda again which was nice since she was/is Viktor's partner.

Renee doesn't know where she came from or who she is. She thinks she can't shift. But little do we find out she is probably the baddest of them all. I freaking loved that.
When she was rescues it was kinda funny and sad how she was so scared of the sky and clung to Viktor like a spider monkey.

It was a great story and one I am very happy I read.

For a third book in a series it wasn't bad. It was actually pretty good. I loved the characters, even though I was really annoyed with Renee from the get-go and would have enjoyed more dialogue and scence with the ornery croc.
The story continues were the last book left off and the continuation was fluid, which quarantees a fast understanding of the story background.
I also enjoyed the way they pulled layer after layer from Renee's past and discovered all the dirty secrets in no time. Her mother was quite intimidating, I have to admit.
Oh well!
Great read in the series and also as a standalone, even though I recommend reading the other books in the series first.

Better than the last one but maybe not as good as the first. Fluffy fun as one other put it, or scaly fluffy fun. OK I still don't see the croc shifter thing but hey she got a good half shift in there. This was really good in the background story as it comes full circle finally. Definitely worth the read after the second one. These creatures are so mismatched, I'll be interested in seeing the next Doc Manners, the Lion, ha.

My review and an extended sample of the audiobook are posted at Hotlistens.com.

This is a series that just keeps getting better and better. In this story, we have Viktor, an ornery croc that has no life outside of work and his weapons. He is sent on a mission to rescue some shifters from a lab of the Mastermind. Things go horribly, or not so horribly, wrong for him when one of the victims latches onto him and won’t let go.

Viktor is not happy when his giraffe shifter boss sends him home with the new victim, Project, because there is no room at the compound. Plus this victim who doesn’t even know her real name or if she ever had one, trusts no one but Viktor. She’s not able to shift because of something that was done to her in the lab, but the do learn that she is a red fox. She is very naive because she doesn’t remember anything from her life from before the “incident”. It has left her without most of her memory, inability to shift; and she is also infertile. Worst of all, she is agoraphobic.

Viktor get really creeped out calling her Project, so he lists off names until she finally picks Renee. He keeps fighting his attraction to her. He sees her as a victim and doesn’t want to push himself on her. Plus, he is older than her. There is also the warm blooded with a cold blooded animal thing.

“In the human world, the only time a croc and a fox got together was when a rich society matron carried one as a purse and the other as a fur stole. But in her world, the world of shifters, anything was possible, even a love between cold blooded and hot.”

Not only does this book have a great romance, but it also build quite a bit on the overall story arc. There is a lot of progress made in FUC’s mission to track down the Mastermind. This series continues to be a fun light-hearted series. If you are looking for your standard UF that is all kickass and serious, then this probably isn’t the series for you. If you’re looking for a series that is going to make you laugh and is sexy. The characters are a lot of fun. This is an author that I always turn to when I need a laugh and to get me in a better mood.

Narration
Abby Craden continues to a do a great job with this series. I love all the different voices that she does in this series. She has had to add new voices with each book and she has done so with ease. I have zero issue telling the characters apart. I thought her pace and tone continue to be spot on.

An Adult Comedic Paranormal Romance
These are light hearted and fun reads.
I like them and I enjoyed this one more than the 2nd one in the series.
There are editing mistakes in them.
They will make you laugh and grin.
