Otro final que me deja con más ganas de leer el siguiente libro de la saga.
Ha sido un placer para mis ojos disfrutar de más momentos de Geralt y Jaskier en comparación con libros anteriores, ya que ambos con la ayuda de un nuevo personaje marchan en busca de Ciri creyendo que esta se encuentra al sur. Así mismo descubrir más sobre la joven Ciri, sobre la procedencia de la sangre antigua y su importancia para la historia es uno de sus puntos fuertes.

También me parece significativa la gran importancia que toman todos los personajes femeninos de la saga ya que aunque siempre han estado presentes ganan fuerza en este libro.

Great addition of a couple of new caracters. Although the main plot line is quite diluted in this book. Also, the translation to English is quite bad, lots of spelling and grammar mistakes

Each novel of Sapkowski's Witcher series seems to me to occupy an identity crisis: is the point to explore his world (which is incredibly imagined and detailed), or to trace the development of world-history in a fantasy setting (all the politics, other viewpoints, etc)? Or is he playing with genres - in this case, the genre of "unlikely band of misfits works together to save..."? There's certainly a marked episodic quality to the epic narrative that casts each volume as merely an entry in the larger overall story. In any case, what I'm trying to say is that there doesn't feel like much point to any one of the novels so far as stand-alone ventures. The whole is larger than the sum of its parts.
