I enjoyed this book. Maybe not enough to call it “a sensation,” but it was quite good and very satisfying. The ending was not quite what I expected either, but I think what I expected would’ve been almost more satisfying!

Fantastic story, amazing writer and a twist I didn't see coming. I can't wait to read more from this author.

This was a solid mystery that held my attention throughout. I was actually pretty invested quite quickly and was able to blow through large portions each time I sat down to read.
I love a cult story, a kidnapping story, and who dunnit and this book had all those things. It was very entertaining, and had quite a few edge of your seat moments.
I was a smidge disappointed in the last pages because it ended up feeling like a rushed conclusion, and a lot happened in a small amount of time. So I docked a star for the rapidness of the ending.
One things for sure, this book made me very excited to pick up The Wife And The Widow because I’ve heard it’s even better than this one!
