I really enjoyed this book I loved the live stories, the mystery, the mystique of the family, and the transitions from the wartime in Paris and more current in the Boston area.

Definitely my favorite read of the year!You become involved with the story as it gradually deepens and develops the characters, it is a little slow but I think it was precisely this slowness that made all the difference And it made me more attached to the characters.I confess that the ending didn't surprise me, and I was able to predict a good part of the plot (kind of unintentionally, I can't help it,I always end up overthinking things), but that didn't detract from the reading experience at all, the story is so well written and involved me in a way that I finish it wanting to start It all over again.
An absolutely beautiful story about family, lost loves, second chances and happy endings. Loved!
