Loved this book. Katie Mack does a really good job of simplifying the science and keeping it really interesting to audiences with little to know understanding of cosmology or even basic physics lol. I appreciated the touches of “what does this all mean” because it really made me think a lot about our little world here and the meaning of life.

Excellent book. Started it, couldn't put it down, and next thing I knew (one existential crisis later), I was done.

Infinite stars for this one!

I adored this book, although I have to admit it was one of those books where I could barely keep the concepts in my head for a few pages, let alone a chapter (my fault, not the author’s!). I think I *might* have come away with a better understanding of cosmic microwave background & how it can be used. Anyway this has me chuckling and gasping at all sorts of physics & cosmology - it was all a gripping tale!

Apocalyptic scenarios scare me
So this was some excellent existential horror. Vacuum decay, The Big Rip...*shudders*

I've also learned a ton about astrophysics, cosmology, and quantum mechanics! Mack's writing is really accessible even if your brain isn't wired for numbers

My second book down the astrophysics/cosmology rabbit hole!

An entry-ish intro to astrophysics. If you’re at all interested in the subject, I highly recommend! Super fascinating look at different cosmological possibilities by a down-to-earth (
