I think this deserved more than 100 pages. It had some moments that creeped me out but I think it could have gone much further and given a proper ick-fest!

This was creepy crawly and gross. But fast paced and good.
It’s reminiscent of Arachnophobia and AHS Delicate.
Kim and Eddie buy a new house. Everything is not as perfect as it seems when they first arrive and Kim tries her best to keep it together.

I am a HUGE fan of Ania Ahlborn, but this is my least favourite book, by far.
SUMMARY (spoilers included):
Kim and Eddie go tour a home out of budget for their growing family, when Kim is the only person to see an old lady sitting in the corner of the master bedroom - which should've been the first red flag.
Their under asking price offer is accepted on the house, and within 6 weeks they're moved in.
They immediately discover the house is infested with roaches, and Kim goes crazy pumping fumes into the home to try rid the house with them, which only works for a couple days. Eventually she adopts a cat and the cat dies - did the roaches kill it? Or did all the poison?
Finally, Kim goes crazy, sets the house on fire trying to bomb out the roaches and the roaches take over her baby.
MY THOUGHTS:
I guess if you're afraid of bugs, this book would irk you - but as someone who isn't that terrified of them, it wasn't up to her usual standards of creepy.
It still read somewhat like a horror movie, which is what I LOVE about Ania Ahlborn's writing, but didn't come close to her usual novels.

I actually don’t have too much to say about this one. I almost wish it was longer. I feel like I wasn’t able to get the full effect out of it since it was so short. Also, I probably shouldn’t have read it right before bed. The creepy dreams didn’t do me any favors.
