This was so tender and gentle and soothing, I wanted to stay in this story forever and just follow these two around. I found ‘Wild’ to be a very healing and soothing read, and thought the vibes here were, to my absolute delight, very similar. 

Check CWs and take good care when reading this, but be advised we aren’t in this book to be traumatized. This story deals a lot with the pain of establishing a found family after being disappointed by one’s family of origin. Becoming someone you can love after being made to feel unlovable, setting boundaries, learning to trust. I thought this was all laid out beautifully, in gorgeous prose and with great care.
