UGH THIS BOOK IS SO GOOOOOD! I have been meaning to read this book for ages but I’ve been kind of nervous to. I am pleased to say that I had nothing to worry about and this book was fantastic.

I loved all of the characters and the plot was superb. I was so deep into this world and even the smallest plot points were shocking me and hurting me. I will never doubt a Shusterman again.

I read the sinopse of this book and automatically pre-order it. 'Dry' tells what I think would be a pretty accurate reality about the water crises eventually humanity is going to face. In this case it happens in a state of the USA, suddently people open their taps and nothing comes out, with no warning whatsoever.
While the story goes on, we keep jumping from one character to another and each one has a different way of thinking and dealing with the crises. I also wondered what I'd do in somes situations they were in but it's difficult to imagine being so desperated or scared like they were. I experienced so many different feelings while reading this book and I'm still processing a lot of what happen.

This book was just too intense for me. I don't generally have trouble with YA fiction, but this was, I guess, too real and possible of a future. Reading it made me actually feel sick to my stomach. And almost halfway through, I had to give it up because it just became too upsetting. Even though I won't finish this book, I'm glad I read what I did. It was well-written and a fascinating dive into a possible apocalyptic future.

I received this book as an ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Una historia bastante angustiosa. He de decir, que en más de una ocasión he sentido la garganta seca

I adored 99% of this book. The premise seemed so plausible, and the situations and themes explored by the author were so engrossing- not to mention Shusterman's uncanny ability to create life-like and relatable characters. Every single plot twist not only kept me on the edge of my seat, but also still felt like a natural progression in the story. My one disappointment was the ending. I loved the little bit about Henry, and I think many of the earlier themes were mentioned... I just would have been interested to see more. It felt not quite rushed, but more paused right before the true ending. That said, this book was phenomenal! Now that I've read the Scythe series, Dry, and UnWind, Neal Shusterman is officially my favorite author of all time and I'm going to go read all his other books.
