Woman decides she doesn't want children while all her friends are having or trying to have them, but essentially ends up with step-kids that gives her a "thrilling sense of purpose". I really wanted this book to help me with this topic but ultimately this was my takeaway and it just made me mad.

One of my favourite books, and a very thought provoking read. I loved how all the women in the book had different paths in life and found their own happiness, even if things didn't work out the way they planned. I definitely related to Olive the most - this book made me feel so seen. While the main characters all had their moments when I found them unlikeable, I loved how raw and real the writing was.

Great reflection on being child free and finding your own path.

I enjoyed this book, but I didn't love it. I felt like the stories of the interesting characters weren't concluded well at the end and I was left with questions.

loved this so much - refreshing to read in the perspective of a female who doesn’t want children and the changing friendship dynamics

I really loved how thought provoking this read was about the decision to have children. I liked how it brought in different journeys women are on and made an effort to value the importance of each of them. No idea about my own plans for motherhood, but it was so good to focus on a journey of self acceptance in a world where having children is the norm.
