DID NOT FINISH

The writing wasn’t my style, repetitive, timelines too confusing and I never felt like I wanted to pick it up

I liked this book. It was very easy to read. Though the characters were a little one dimensional, I enjoyed the conversations had and the awkward difficulties of navigating adult friendships. It highlighted well that with friends you've had for a long time there will be ups and downs as everyone takes their own path. One stand out conversation had within the book is we need to be more gentle with eachother, and accepting others choices, even though it might differ from yours.

this book makes me appreciate how important ur friends from school are & how special that bond is (shout out). Only 3 stars bc she really talked too much about not wanting to have kids and was like obsessed with talking about it. it’s really nbd olive sweetie

As someone who really wants kids and can't wait to be a mum one day, I found this a really interesting read.

It's good to hear a story from the point of view of Olive who does not want kids and what it is like being at an age where the expectation is to have a family and your friends are all taking this step.

I have definitely questioned myself over things I perhaps have said to people who don't want kids and how annoying lines like "you might change your mind!" can be to them. This is where the value in this book lies - the book as a whole is pretty good and easy to ready yet slightly predictable - but it is always good to hear things from a totally different perspective.
