This book wrecked me. It was so dang good though, even though it destroyed me. Side note: I really appreciated the different representation of ADHD, especially as a female educator with late diagnosis of ADHD. 🤣 It was a beautiful story, just be prepared to cry… even though you know from the beginning that you will cry.

This book almost made me CRY! Dying and grief are not easy topics to discuss, let alone write about them in great depths, but I think Alison Cochrun did a fantastic job writing from both Logan and Rosemary’s perspectives.

I loved the humor in this book, and appreciated the growth th ats present in Logan and Rosemary along this cross country “death trip” as Joe called it. I do wish the growth was faster from Logan
because it started to get annoying that she kept referring to herself as a fuckboy when clearly she has abandonment issues from her mom picking up and leaving to another state without her.
but I understand that each person has their epiphany at different times in their lives and I was glad Logan still matured.

I also reallly loved that we get glimpses of Joe’s past, and I LOVE all the gay shenanigans these three get into!

Bonus points for the author for including black and brown characters without pretending to know what it’s like to be a person of color, and writing from their perspectives. More white authors need to follow her lead!

I hardly ever like romance books, but this book had me locked in and rooting for them. I look forward to reading other stories by Alison Cochrun, and I’d highly recommend this read.
