A warm, easy read. I particularly loved the way Cochran captured the emotion and heartache around being with a loved one as they slowing leave this life. It is painful and beautiful.

After the fourth time of inserting fucking in between a celebrity’s first and last name I knew wouldn’t be able to get through this book
Probably won’t revisit

Logan was so deeply unlikeable as a character and I couldn't find a redeeming quality to make her worth reading. I felt like the plot was a poorly done cliche, and, simply put, it wasn't well-written. I was bored and Logan was impossible. I wouldn't have stopped if the cliches were better used.

I cannot wait for this book to be made into an emotional, romcom one day. I could vividly imagine all of the antics Joe, Rosemary, and Logan got up to on their road trip. I loved Joe and Remy’s love so much - I would literally die for them. I also thoroughly enjoyed Rosemary’s character development over the course of the book (which is saying a lot since she was a little insufferable at the beginning). I didn’t love the millennial cringe that Logan had - it took me out of the story too much - and I also think Joe’s death was dragged out a little bit. I know that was supposed to be realistic to mimic the unknowns of when someone goes into hospice, but it made his ending not impact me as much.

This book is sweet, heartwarming, funny, an amazing adventure and so much more. Characters that will work their way into your heart. Characters that grow. Very good read!

This one surprised me by being funnier, more touching, and more nuanced than I expected from a road trip second chance romance. The supporting characters, even the dog, had actual roles and personalities, instead of being reduced to tropes. So much of this book felt like a celebration of life, love, community, and individuality.
