Started to feel way too tropey and I started to dislike both main characters. It felt like whenever one was trying, the other would go out of their way to be mean or short-tempered or not even try to understand.

oh my god. I was expecting your standard type of rom-com when I picked this up, fluff, fiction fast food, but this - the love on every single page was palpable, undeniable, and it perfectly captured the feeling of the best, this-is-my-home moments I have had with my own queer found family. I'm still crying, and it feels so - healing. If nothing can destroy you, then what's the point? I agree. As both a queer woman and someone who also doesn't do things in moderation, I feel seen in this novel.

I laughed, I cried, and I didn’t want this to end. I have not connected with characters like this in such a long time. The characters were real and well rounded. They made me fall in love and want the best for them. The story was so beautiful. My only criticism is that I wished for more! I never wanted this book to be over. I want a series of 40 books where I read about the adventures they take and have silly fights over where to go next.
